A 140-year-old stone stable, tastefully converted for guest accommodation and listed by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust, The Stable shares a private, sunny courtyard with our home. Your experienced hosts can advise about tours and sightseeing.
The cottage has a double bed on the mezzanine floor and a single bed downstairs. The bathroom, with shower, is on the ground floor. The compact kitchenette has a sink, fridge, microwave and utensils. There is a sound system and TV sets on both levels.
While very close to the town centre, the property is in a quiet cul-de-sac, and set in a garden abundant with mature rhododendrons and native birds. The beach, walkways, and the famed Public Gardens are all within 100 metres. It is an easy 5-minute stroll to downtown Queenstown with it's many cafes, restaurants and shops. Both ski hire and all ski field transport are close by.
